Foreign Material Catcher
The Foreign Material Catcher is the safest, most cost efficient tool designed to be used by one person when working on manholes. The patented lightweight and sturdy design allows you to work on a manhole and not have dirt, asphalt and cement get in the manhole invert. The need to enter a manhole for cleaning is greatly reduced.
Very easy to use!
Remove manhole cover. Insert Foreign Material Catcher inside cone section above first step and secure by tightening the swivel feet. Place rubber stopper on top of the unit. Remove casting. Perform work on the manhole with concrete and rings. Set casting and adjust to desired grade. Clean off the rubber stopper and remove. Pull the catcher from the manhole and replace cover. The Foreign Material Catcher can be modified for different sizes and types of manholes and catch basins.
