Terms of Service

By accessing or using SiteArmor at sitearmor.net ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

SiteArmor is operated by SiteArmor ("we", "us", or "our"). These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and customers.

SiteArmor provides automated WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility scanning for websites. The Service analyzes publicly accessible web pages and generates reports identifying potential accessibility barriers.

The Service includes:

• Automated accessibility scans of public URLs
• Issue reports with severity ratings and remediation guidance
• AI-powered code fix suggestions (paid plans)
• Downloadable PDF reports (paid plans)
• Accessibility statement generator (free tool)

To access paid features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a legally binding agreement to use the Service.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Scan URLs you do not own or have explicit permission to test
• Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or resell the Service
• Use automated tools to exceed normal usage volumes
• Introduce malicious code or attempt to gain unauthorized access
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations

Paid features require a subscription. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis (monthly or annual) until you cancel.

Free Trial: Where offered, a 14-day free trial grants full access to paid features. Your subscription begins at the end of the trial period unless cancelled beforehand.

Cancellation: You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial periods.

Refunds: If you are unsatisfied within 7 days of your first charge, contact us at [email protected] for a full refund. After 7 days, no refunds are issued.

Prices are listed in USD and exclude applicable taxes. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

The Service, including its design, software, and content, is owned by SiteArmor and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without written permission.

You retain ownership of any data or content you submit to the Service. By submitting URLs for scanning, you grant us a limited license to access and analyze those pages solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Scan results are complete, accurate, or legally sufficient
• Using the Service will ensure legal compliance with ADA, WCAG, EN 301 549, or any other standard

Automated accessibility scanning cannot detect all accessibility barriers. The Service is not a substitute for manual accessibility audits or legal advice. We recommend consulting a qualified accessibility professional for comprehensive compliance.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SITEARMOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SiteArmor and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

The Service integrates with third-party providers including Stripe (payment processing) and Supabase (data storage). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the Service. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Czech Republic, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Prague, Czech Republic.
